Omforme, an interior design company, is dedicated to bringing sustainability into the design and furniture industry. Owner and designer, Carter Averbeck, creates high-quality custom pieces from disregarded materials and refurbishes vintage items, offering customers better prices, durable furniture, and unique, high-end, one-of-kind sustainability-minded designs.
Filming and editing:
To film this I used my iPhone 16 Pro and the Blackmagic app. The Blackmagic app works with the editing software Premiere Pro by producing video clips more compatible with the application. I used Premiere Pro to first build a narrative with the interview of Averbeck which I then supported with the b-roll I captured in his studio. I also utilized a couple of clips sent from Averbeck as well as background music from Storyblocks.
The video aims to highlight Omforme’s unique mission: promoting sustainability as well as care for furniture and where it comes from. It showcases Averbeck’s personality and passion for what he does, while also giving viewers a taste of his art. This introduction and brand/explainer video, explores the brand’s values, their mission, and whilstn also showing off the style of Omforme.
I call to action by encouraging viewers to visit Omforme’s website at the end of the video as a way to explore what it would be like to become a customer.
